If you are looking to invest in your own home gym or looking to upgrade your current one, we can help. We will research, plan, build and install your home gym. After an initial consultation where we discuss your requirements, budget and space, I will then go away and plan and design the perfect setup for you. I will then come round and install it, saving you time, money and effort!

Setting up a home gym isn’t cheap. Installation quotes from gym equipment companies are generally very high and can even cost more than the actual equipment you’re buying. I will give you a bespoke quote that aims to keep costs down, both in terms of equipment and installation.

Quality

I realised when I was setting up my home gym that different companies have different pros and cons, both in terms of quality and functionality. The best approach is to use a range of different companies so you end up with the best possible gym setup for your budget, specific to your individual requirements.

Time

Researching, planning, building and installing your own gym space takes time and effort. Gym equipment can also be complicated and require more than 1 person to build. Once I know your requirements and your room specifications, I will take care of everything from planning to installation. Sometimes the best company will be on page 10 of a Google search!

Expertise

Having researched, planned and built my own PT studio, I have first-hand knowledge of what’s involved at each step of the process, and what all the considerations are. I have also been a PT for over 10 years so have used a wide range of companies and equipment both personally and with clients so I have an in-depth knowledge of what they offer. I can also advise in relation to who’s using the gym, what their goals are and what kind of training they will be doing.

Benefits of using us over a big gym company

Some big gym equipment suppliers will offer to plan and install your home gym, but they will only recommend and sell their own equipment. This can lead to unnecessarily high costs, and you may end up with a mix of equipment that’s not quite right for you, just because you’ve only used that one company. For example, some companies have high spec cable machines at a decent price, but their weight plates might be expensive. Another company might have a great range of benches, but have limited options for cardio machines. Some companies offer size customisation for power racks, others don’t. Some companies don’t offer installation at all. It’s much better to have the freedom to pick the most suitable bits of equipment from each company, without any restrictions. Space is often a primary concern with home gyms, and depending on the footprint of your gym space, you are going to need to make educated, sensible decisions around what will comfortably fit (including storage), and what you can physically do in your space. Wall-mounted options are a great space saver, as well as adjustable dumbbells - both of which I use in my studio.
